About the publication

Evidence after disturbance

Renewal Ecology is an independent editorial concept built to explain environmental change without flattening uncertainty.

Our mission

We make research on wildfire ecology, soil recovery, ecological succession, volcanic landscapes and restoration easier to navigate. Our articles begin with public evidence, name the place and method behind a finding, and distinguish a general pattern from a local result.

What we publish

We publish explainers, source libraries and bounded field stories. We do not issue emergency alerts, prescribe land treatment or represent ourselves as a field research institution.

Who is responsible

Until verified individual contributors are appointed, the byline “Renewal Ecology Editorial Desk” identifies an institutional editorial profile—not a person, scientist or claim of original fieldwork. The publisher must replace the marked ownership, email and address fields before launch.
